All the fine detail would depend on the person but yeah the concept would be the same if you're trying to put on mass |

Iam more than 6 ft ....and somewhere 70 kg/ possibly stuck at this point / In the past I ve tried everything ..../protein 150g/day/ proper eating and 3-4 times training in a single week ... However I did try a lot of training variations /one and a half hour to 3 hours.../ I juts stuck ...:/ So I just ended it and for about 2 years I barely do anything like that |

Did you see any improvements as far as definition was concerned? I tend not to focus too much on what the scale says because if you can feel/see changes in your body, it's a good thing.
Yeah, it's why I said I am not expert. I have seen people who can't gain a single pound despite the amount they eat. |

Oh dw I was pretty much reiterating what you said and expanding a tiny bit rather than contradicting it or anything. Sorry. |

were you doing the same workouts or what? our bodies adapt and gets used to the same thing if we keep doing them over and over again and we become more efficient at it. switching it up every 8 weeks or so is generally a good idea |

did you rest often cuz if it's mass you're building then that comes from the recovery rather than the actual workouts other than that I have no idea. doesnt make sense at all that you're doing things properly but making no gains whatsoever. i'd even say that's impossible but i havent witnessed what you did so i cant really jump to conclusions like that. |

There is no need to apologize. I was happy that you expanded a bit of what I said. @Pointer- If you saw changes in your body, even if they were small, that is good! @Benny- There is no problem with you playing video games as a kid. You don't need to feel ashamed about it either. We all did that you know. However, I do believe that exercise is important because humans weren't meant to be sitting at home all day.Edited by Pookie, Sep 12 2013, 03:48 PM.

that's obviously what i'm referring to. you reached a plateau. jeez. i thought that's what the conversation was about: reaching a plateau and not making anymore gains.
